I agree with Lorna, Try to get your lady friend to meet you at the airport. I was just over in the Phil a few months ago,,I was my first time back since 1987.I took a bus from Angeles City to Paniqui, Tarlac, Although when I was there before I had taken busses many times,
I had forgotten how how confusing the bus terminals there could be. I was lucky I was traveling with a good friend so there was no problem,,but I was thinking all the time,,what would I do if I were by myself.
Bus stations in the Phil are like bus stations here as the seem to have some strange characters that hang around them, so be careful,,but that is not to say that everyone there is after your money,,there are many people traveling that will be glad to help you. Look for families that are traveling together, a Man his wife and children,,and ask the Man if he can help you find the correct bus,, most will be happy to help.
That would be I think the biggest problem at the Phil bus station is finding the right bus going to where you want to go,,there are so many comming and going,,it can be quite confusing. So as Lorna said,,try to get your Lady Friend to meet you at the airport, or have her send someone there to meet you.
